Fans can catch the on-track battles live on FS1, NASCAR Radio, and SiriusXM. The Charlotte Motor Speedway has hosted NASCAR races since 1960 and serves as a familiar stage for many of the best drivers and teams in the series.

Among those on the entry list, two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch stands out. He is back with Spire Motorsports and will pilot the No. 7 Chevrolet.

BJ McLeod joins the Spire lineup as well, making his first Truck Series start of the 2025 season in the No. 07 Chevrolet. Ross Chastain, a regular threat in multiple NASCAR divisions, returns to the No. 44 Niece Motorsports Chevrolet for this Friday night showdown.

The starting roster features a blend of seasoned veterans and young prospects. Brandon Jones, at 28 and from Atlanta, Georgia, takes the wheel for TRICON Garage.

Stefan Parsons and Cody Dennison, representing Youngโ€™s Motorsports and Reaume Brothers Racing respectively, also bring regional ties to North Carolina and Alabama. Toni Breidinger, age 25, becomes one of several strong rookie candidates in the garage, while Corey Heim, Jake Garcia, and Tyler Ankrum represent the next generation of NASCAR competitors.

Notable full-timers like Grant Enfinger, Chandler Smith, and Ben Rhodes make their return. Established names such as Matt Crafton and Ty Majeski continue to add to their impressive career statistics.

The entry list covers more than 30 drivers, including Mason Maggio, Dawson Sutton, Frankie Muniz, and Connor Mosack. International drivers are present as well, with Andres Perez De Lara of Mexico City and Stewart Friesen from Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.

Each paddock, team, and crew chief brings different strategies and sponsorship deals, adding depth and competition to the field. The Truck Series event opens a weekend of high-intensity racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The BetMGM 300 follows on Saturday, May 24, featuring the Xfinity Series, while the Coca-Cola 600 highlights Sundayโ€™s schedule for the NASCAR Cup Series. Charlotteโ€™s 24-degree banked turns and smooth asphalt surface test both driver endurance and crew adaptability, especially with changes in track temperature from day to night.

As the season progresses, the focus sharpens on the rookie battle for 2025. Drivers such as Toni Breidinger, Gio Ruggiero, and Frankie Muniz chase the coveted Rookie of the Year honors, using each start at iconic tracks like Charlotte to build their resumes.

Experienced drivers fight to add wins and points toward the series championship. Some teams are fielding rookie drivers full-time, while others rely on multi-driver lineups with split seasons.

Looking ahead, this event plays a key role in the championship picture while giving fans a classic Friday night short-track atmosphere. The entry list is subject to change as teams make last-minute decisions, but the lineup promises a strong mix of champions, rising stars, and fan favorites ready to tackle the challenge.

The setting at Charlotte Motor Speedway continues to offer memorable moments for both drivers and viewers each year.
