The 2025 Monaco Grand Prix F2 Feature Race brought plenty of drama to the streets of Monte Carlo on May 25. Jake Crawford from DAMS Lucas Oil claimed his first feature race victory in a contest packed with incidents and two red flag stoppages.
The opening lap proved chaotic, as pole-sitter Alex Dunne and Victor Martins collided at Sainte Devote. Dunne misjudged his move, which caused a massive pile-up that involved nearly half of the field and left several cars out of the race.

Race officials stopped the action for an extended period to clear the track and recover the damaged vehicles. When racing resumed, Leonardo Fornaroli took charge, heading a tight lead group that included Arvid Lindblad and Sebastian Montoya.
Crawford maintained his position right behind, waiting for a chance to advance. The race then became timed due to the lengthy interruption.
Another interruption soon followed as Dino Beganovic crashed heavily at Casino Square. The safety car came out, catching the leading trio just before the pits, while Crawford dived into the pit lane at the perfect moment.
Crawfordโs quick reaction allowed him to jump ahead during the safety car period. After the final round of stops, he led Fornaroli and Lindblad to the line.
However, post-race, Lindblad received a five-second pit lane speeding penalty, which dropped him from a podium finish down to ninth place. Sebastian Montoya, who had failed to start with the initial grid after his car stalled, benefited from Lindbladโs penalty and moved up to third with Prema Racing.
The race results after all penalties saw Crawford on top with 25 points, Fornaroli in second for Invicta Racing claiming 18, and Montoya third scoring 15. Rounding out the points positions were Luke Browning (Hitech TGR) in fourth, Kush Maini (DAMS) fifth, Roman Stanek (Invicta) sixth, Amaury Cordeel (Rodin Motorsport) seventh, and Rafael Villagomez (Van Amersfoort) in eighth.
Lindbladโs penalty left him ninth, and Oliver Goethe (MP Motorsport) scored the final point in tenth. The race produced eight official retirements, with drivers such as Beganovic, Durksen, Dunne, and several others unable to finish after incidents or mechanical issues.
