Noah Gragson turned in a memorable effort at Charlotte Motor Speedway by finishing 10th in the marathon Coca-Cola 600, his third top-10 result of this NASCAR Cup Series season. For Gragson and the No. 4 Front Row Motorsports team, the race on May 25, 2025, was not only a season highlightโ€”it marked the first time Gragson completed all 600 miles at Charlotte in his four career starts there.

He now holds his best finish ever at the historic 1.5-mile track, which is known as โ€œAmericaโ€™s Home for Racing.โ€ Coming out of the race, Gragson jumped to 28th place in the Cup standings after entering Charlotte ranked 31st, setting up a stronger position for the upcoming in-season challenge.

NASCAR Insights data reflected Gragsonโ€™s advancement throughout the race. He ranked third in Restart Rating on Sunday, a key measure given there were five restarts in the raceโ€™s second half.

His Speed Rating, ranked ninth, helped him keep up with the leaders, while his Passer Rating improved to 11th and his Defense Rating to 14th as the night wore on. These gains allowed Gragson to stay in the top 10 through key stretches and gather stage points that will matter late in the year.

Gragsonโ€™s progress on the track was matched by the hustle of his pit crew. The No. 4 pit road team posted the seventh-best Pit Crew Rating, which was a full nine places higher than their season average entering the weekend.

This improvement helped him hold position and stay in the fight during critical cycles, contributing to the overall all-around performance by Front Row Motorsports in one of NASCARโ€™s signature events.

His result also helped secure a spot inside the 32-driver grid for the NASCAR In-Season Challenge, with the final field to be confirmed after the Cup race at Nashville Superspeedway on June 1. Gragson has only two previous Cup starts on Nashvilleโ€™s 1.33-mile oval but did finish 10th there last season, a race famous for its five overtimes.

That experience could benefit him as he tries to use Charlotteโ€™s momentum and aim for another solid finish as the summer stretch ramps up.

Elsewhere in the field, Gragsonโ€™s Front Row Motorsports teammates Todd Gilliland and Zane Smith also had strong performances, both ranking seventh or better in Restart Rating. Carson Hocevar put his No. 77 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet in the conversation with the fourth-best Speed Rating of the night, while Brad Keselowski landed fifth at the checkered flag despite not placing in the top 10 in any major metric.

With the regular season standings tightening and the in-season challenge approaching, Gragsonโ€™s landmark race at Charlotte could prove pivotal. The No. 4 teamโ€™s effort in both execution and improvement stands out as one of the feel-good stories coming out of NASCARโ€™s longest race.

All eyes will be on Nashville to see if Gragson can continue climbing the leaderboards and build on this critical performance.
