Brad Keselowski and his team at Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing are coming into Nashville Superspeedway with a sense of growing possibility. After driving the No. 6 Ford Mustang to a fifth-place finish at Charlotte, Keselowski is preparing for his next challenge in the NASCAR Cup Series.
The Charlotte race was a major step, as he led five lapsโthe first laps out front for him this seasonโand it marked his best result so far in 2025. Before that, his top performance this year was an 11th-place finish at Las Vegas back in March.

Keselowski, who won the NASCAR Cup Series championship in 2012, is looking to build on this recent momentum with the hope of climbing from his current 32nd spot in the championship standings and grabbing a spot in the playoffs.
Keselowskiโs last trip to Victory Lane came at Darlington Raceway in the spring of 2024. Since then, he and his crew have been working to improve the speed and reliability of their cars.
The recent surge in performance at Charlotte shows their hard work is paying off. Keselowski believes that the whole organization, especially his No. 6 team, is showing positive signs.
According to him, the group is starting to develop more speed, and their race-day decisions have improved. This feeling of progress is important as the series heads into a key stretch of races.
In the latest race, Keselowski and his team made a strong late charge. During the final run at Charlotte, they managed to pass at least six cars, setting some of the fastest laps during that period.
This level of pace provided a much-needed boost of confidence. While Keselowski has never scored a top-10 finish at Nashville Superspeedway in his four career starts, his recent speed offers hope that could change this year.

The upcoming Cup Series event, the Cracker Barrel 400, is scheduled for June 1 at 7:00 p.m.
Beyond Nashville, Keselowski will return to his home state of Michigan for the next race weekend. The veteran driver has posted impressive results at Michigan International Speedway, with 15 top-10 finishes in 27 starts, including three times finishing second.
In the last four visits there, he has earned three top-10 finishes, making Michigan one of his stronger tracks on the circuit.
Keselowski noted that last year the team sometimes posted good results without a fast car, but this time they have added speed and just need to execute clean races. He recognizes that while there may be more raw potential in his cars now, consistently high finishes require both speed and flawless teamwork on race day.
The focus remains on bringing all the elements together and making steady gains with every race.
For now, Keselowski and his crew remain focused on carrying over the positives from Charlotte to Nashville. With the Cup Series season moving quickly, every race becomes an opportunity to move up in the standings and possibly secure that sought-after playoff spot with a win.
The coming weeks will show if this improved form will turn into results when it matters most on track.
