This win was not just his 109th Pro Stock career victory, but also made him the winningest Pro Stock driver in the history of the facility. Anderson now leads the series standings and moves closer to a seventh world championship title, building on his six previous crowns.

Qualifying in Epping saw Anderson post a strong 6.537-second time at 209.95 mph. He almost claimed the top qualifying spot but was edged out by his KB Titan Racing teammate Cody Coughlin, who matched the time at a faster speed.

Anderson and his team overcame mistakes during earlier rounds in the weekend, pushing through to the final where performance peaked. In the final, he raced against longtime rival Erica Enders.

Their reaction times were separated by only .006 seconds, but Enders lost traction, clearing the path for Anderson to take the win and reset the track record.

With this latest result, Anderson reached a new milestone by recording his 997th career round win, leaving him just three short of the 1,000 mark. Only one NHRA driver, John Force, has reached that milestone in the series’ history.

Anderson remains focused on steady improvements and credits his KB Titan Racing crew for their persistence and drive, especially after a tricky month away from the racetrack. The team, which came together with Ken Black in the early 2000s, boasts 10 world champions and 201 Pro Stock victories across its history.

This season, Anderson has appeared in every final in the first six races, while his teammate Dallas Glenn earned a finalist spot three times with three event wins. The competition in Pro Stock has been intense in 2025.

Elite Motorsports, which has battled KB Titan Racing for dominance in recent years, showed signs of recovery in Epping after early-season struggles. Anderson acknowledged their determination, commenting on how a short break allowed their rivals to close the gap.

He praised the spirit of the class, pointing out that no team gives up easily and every event is hard-fought.

Anderson’s team now looks ahead with optimism as the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series continues. The next stop is the Super Grip NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals at Bristol Dragway, running from June 6 to 8, 2025.

Anderson, sitting at 997 round wins, has a real chance to reach an exclusive club at the next event. The race for the championship is heating up, with Anderson and KB Titan Racing prepared for strong challenges as the season continues.

The team, which came together with Ken Black in the early 2000s, boasts 10 world champions and 201 Pro Stock victories across its history, reflecting a level of legacy comparable to dynasties seen in other motorsport domains, such as the tension around the F1 Monaco Grand Prix.

The competition in Pro Stock has been intense in 2025, mirroring the fierce battles in top-tier racing categories where every event is a testament to driver skill and team strategy.
