The NASCAR Cup Series is heading to Michigan International Speedway with the FireKeepers Casino 400 on Sunday, June 8, starting at 2:00 p.m. ET. Thirty-six drivers are on the entry list for this key midseason event as the In-Season Challenge heats up.

Fans can catch the action on Prime Video, MRN Radio, or SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. The weekend in Brooklyn, Michigan also features other races, including the DQS Solutions & Staffing 250 on Saturday and the Chilango 150 at another venue the following week.

Ross Chastain will pilot the No. 1 Busch Light Apple car for Trackhouse Racing, bringing experience from Alva, Florida and working with crew chief Philip Surgen. Austin Cindric, age 26 from Mooresville, North Carolina, climbs into the No. 2 Discount Tire car for Team Penske.

Both drivers aim to score strong finishes for their teams. Last yearโ€™s top competitors like Kyle Larson, who drives the HendrickCars.com Chevy for Hendrick Motorsports, and Joey Logano with the No. 22 Hunt Brothers Pizza Ford, will be looking to add more points to their championship campaigns.

The field includes former champions and rising stars across several major teams. Denny Hamlin, with 44 starts this year, leads the No. 11 Yahoo! Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing.

Young gun Ty Gibbs, age 22, also represents Joe Gibbs Racing in the No. 54 entry, building on his success from the previous season. Other returning drivers include Chase Elliott in the No. 9 UniFirst Chevy, William Byron in the No. 24 Raptor Chevy, and Bubba Wallace carrying the Columbia colors for 23XI Racing.

Several notable crew chiefs will be making strategic decisions, including Cliff Daniels for Kyle Larson, Paul Wolfe for Joey Logano, and Alan Gustafson for Chase Elliott. Each aims to guide their teams through the 200 scheduled laps at the two-mile oval.

The event marks a critical stop as drivers attempt to secure points before the playoffs, and with 36 entries confirmed, competition will be tight throughout the weekend. Among the lineup are some of Michiganโ€™s local talents.

Brad Keselowski, a Michigan native, is behind the wheel of the No. 6 BuildSubmarines.com Ford for RFK Racing. Carson Hocevar, from Portage, Michigan, makes his Cup Series attempt with Spire Motorsports.

Erik Jones, another Michigan-born competitor, will run in the No. 43 Dollar Tree Chevrolet for Legacy Motor Club. Each hopes for a strong showing in front of hometown fans.

Several new faces and seasoned veterans appear on the entry list. Shane Van Gisbergen from Auckland, New Zealand, prepares to tackle Michiganโ€™s high speeds in the No. 91 Safety Culture Chevrolet for Trackhouse Racing.

Meanwhile, veterans like Michael McDowell and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. return, each representing their teams with hopes of scoring valuable points and possible playoff berths. The FireKeepers Casino 400 promises a full field, competitive pit crews, and heated battles across all 200 laps.

As the In-Season Challenge gets underway and playoff spots become even more valuable, every position will matter at Michigan. Drivers and teams will be focused as the green flag drops in one of NASCARโ€™s fastest races of the season.
