American Rebel Light Beer has been named the title sponsor for the upcoming Virginia NHRA Nationals at Virginia Motorsports Park. This is the fifth time the event will run at the facility, scheduled for June 20-22.
The race is the ninth of 20 in the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series. Fans can watch high-speed nitro cars, reaching up to 330 mph, during three qualifying sessions on Saturday, followed by Sunday eliminations.
Earlier this year, American Rebel Light Beer was also a title sponsor at the Charlotte NHRA event. With this new partnership, Andy Ross, leader of American Rebel Beer and also a singer-songwriter, is set to perform live with his band during the festival.
The brand’s logo and messages will appear throughout the track, and adults over 21 will be able to enjoy American Rebel Light Beer during the race festivities.
Television coverage plays a big part in this event. Both FOX and FS1 will feature live broadcasts, starting with qualifying rounds at 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, and elimination rounds beginning at 4 p.m. ET Sunday, June 22.
The race weekend includes the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge. Racers can earn extra points and prize money during this special bonus contest, adding more intensity to Saturday’s action.
The competition field features standout names. Doug Kalitta, last year’s Top Fuel winner in Richmond, is joined by drivers like Austin Prock, Gaige Herrera, Tony Stewart, Brittany Force, and Antron Brown.
Reigning Funny Car champion Austin Prock leads the points and will compete against top drivers, including Jack Beckman, Matt Hagan, Ron Capps, and J.R. Todd. On two wheels, Gaige Herrera, a two-time champion, has taken two wins this season and currently leads six-time winner Matt Smith.
Other strong contenders in the Pro Stock Motorcycle class include Richard Gadson, Angie Smith, Chase Van Sant, Steve Johnson, and Jianna Evaristo.
The excitement extends beyond the main NHRA series. Pro Mod cars, Factory X machines, and Top Fuel Motorcycles will run as part of the event, giving spectators a full lineup.
Qualifying and racing in those categories kick off on Friday at 9 a.m. before Saturday’s critical pro qualifying sessions.
Tickets for the American Rebel Light Virginia NHRA Nationals are offered digitally, allowing fans to secure a spot for the action-packed weekend. The event is open to all ages, though only adults can purchase or enjoy sponsored beverages on-site.
The entire schedule and latest race updates are provided by NHRA, keeping followers informed and ready for race day.
With American Rebel Light Beer’s support as the title sponsor, and a strong lineup of drivers across several categories, the Virginia NHRA Nationals are set to deliver fast racing and memorable moments.
