Ferrari has confirmed its intention to keep the same group of drivers for its World Endurance Championship Hypercar team in 2026. Antonello Coletta, the Italian manufacturerโ€™s boss for sportscar racing, emphasized that stability is vital for Ferrariโ€™s factory efforts.

Coletta outlined that the lineup of drivers in its two AF Corse-run 499P race cars will remain unchanged. Speaking during the 2025 Le Mans 24 Hours event, he stated there is no plan to change any members of the current driver teams.

The crews for the #50 and #51 Ferrari AF Corse 499P cars have driven together since 2023, when the model joined the championship. The #50 team features Antonio Fuoco, Nicklas Nielsen, and Miguel Molina.

The #51 car pairs Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Giovinazzi. Since joining the competition, these six drivers have achieved strong results, making Ferrariโ€™s management confident about their decisions.

Recent contract renewals back up this approach. Pier Guidi and Calado signed new deals late in 2023, while Nielsenโ€™s contract was extended at the beginning of 2024.

Although Ferrari wants to stick with the same line-ups, Coletta stressed that final decisions usually happen after the end of Le Mans every season. With multi-year contracts for some drivers and others up for renewal, the team will review agreements later this year.

This process helps Ferrari find solutions that work for both the team and each driver. It is a standard procedure that occurs after the marquee 24-hour race.

The Hypercar category in the WEC is set for more competition in the coming years. Genesis is entering the series in 2025, with McLaren and Ford joining in 2027.

New teams are already active in the driver market, reportedly approaching at least one Ferrari driver. Despite this, Ferrari remains optimistic about keeping its existing squad together.
