ARP has introduced a new lineup of “Reduced Wrenching” bolts designed to help builders work in tight spaces where standard fasteners can be difficult to use.
These bolts are now available in convenient 5-pack sizes and come in both stainless steel and black oxide-coated 8740 chrome moly steel.
With these options, customers can choose the best material for their needs while benefiting from the improved ease of use that comes with smaller wrenching heads.
The 3/8-16 and 3/8-24 bolts are offered with both 3/8-inch and 7/16-inch heads, and the 7/16-14 and 7/16-20 bolts are available with 7/16-inch or 1/2-inch heads.
The range of sizes allows for versatility in many projects. The 3/8-inch bolts are offered in underhead lengths from 0.500 inches up to 5.000 inches, while the 7/16-inch bolts go from 1.500 inches to 5.000 inches in length.
Customers can also decide between hex or 12-point head designs, which means the bolts can fit a variety of tools and preferences.
Both polished stainless steel and 8740 chrome moly versions are engineered for strength, with a tensile rating of 180,000 psi.
This rating is about 20% higher than traditional Grade 8 hardware, making them a strong choice for demanding applications.
Each ARP bolt is forged, heat-treated, and machined in-house to meet high standards for material quality and consistency.
The company has a long-standing reputation in the racing and performance community for strict quality control and durable hardware.
These new “Reduced Wrenching” bolts stay true to that legacy and address the frequent challenge of limited access in performance engine compartments and other tight assembly areas.
Alongside the 5-packs by size, ARP offers collections designed for specific engine applications.
Their Engine & Accessory Fastener Kits are made for many of the most popular engines in motorsports and street performance.
With more than 5,500 different fastener kits in their catalog, ARP continues to support engine builders and mechanics at every level.
Every kit is designed with input from real-world users in racing, hot rodding, and restoration.
This launch is part of ARP’s ongoing commitment to meeting the needs of both professional teams and hobbyist builders.
The company aims to provide solutions that make installation quicker without sacrificing quality or reliability.
By offering bolts with reduced wrench sizes that fit better in cramped conditions, ARP is responding directly to requests from the field.
As technology and racing needs change, hardware must keep pace.
ARP’s decision to expand its lineup with these new bolts highlights its role in the industry and ongoing innovation for the world of performance fasteners.
Builders now have more options than ever to tackle space-limited jobs with hardware that is both easier to install and made to last.
