FIA approves a record 13 events and 21 races for 2026-27.

Three new circuits join: Brands Hatch, Circuit of the Americas, and Zandvoort. The campaign opens with a Jeddah double-header before Christmas, as Gen4 cars debut and likely prompt layout refinements.

Regional instability threatens the Saudi opener. Organisers have contingencies if Jeddah becomes untenable. Zak Brown expresses cautious optimism while confirming viable backup options.

The American phase begins in Mexico City in January. Austin follows on February 6 at COTA, using the NASCAR layout. Miami stages a second E-Prix on February 20.

São Paulo runs on March 13, returning to its spring slot. A standalone Sanya race follows on April 17. Europe then takes over with a dense two-month block.

From early May to late June, Europe features seven double-headers. Berlin and Monaco form the first consecutive weekends. Brands Hatch races on May 29-30.

Brands Hatch replaces the London ExCeL venue, which cannot accommodate wider Gen4 cars. The event may be titled “London E-Prix hosted at Brands Hatch.” The circuit’s return follows a long-term agreement, as Formula E returns to Brands Hatch, underpinning a multi-year plan.

Silverstone was assessed but deemed less suitable. Its out-of-city location and crowded world championship programme counted against it. MotorSport Vision’s involvement helped cement Brands Hatch as a UK anchor.

Plans for Zandvoort include hosting the Amsterdam E-Prix on June 18-19. The plan includes a Friday night race and a Saturday afternoon event.

Europe compresses seven double-headers between May and June.

Madrid at Jarama follows shortly after, creating the second back-to-back. This phase stresses efficiency in freight and personnel planning. It also tightens the championship’s competitive rhythm.

Tokyo stages the finale on July 24-25 with two night races. The series renewed its agreement with the city after assessing alternatives. The finish extends the calendar slightly beyond last season.

Tokyo will host two night races on July 24-25.

Headline dates include December 18-19 in Jeddah and January 16 in Mexico City. Austin runs February 6, Miami February 20, and São Paulo March 13. Sanya follows April 17 before Europe’s run.

The calendar continues through Shanghai in July before Tokyo closes proceedings. This updated calendar highlights Formula E’s growth and its commitment to global expansion.
