At the 20th Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals, Maddi Gordon takes her first Top Fuel win as Ron Capps Motorsports completes a Top Fuel–Funny Car sweep at Summit Motorsports Park.

Gordon delivers 3.786 seconds at 333.16 mph in the Carlyle Tools/Monster Energy dragster. A starting-line parts issue delays launch, but the team saves the run in her 10th start.

She eliminates Tony Stewart and points leader Shawn Langdon to face Antron Brown. Brown leaves first, but Gordon drives past to seal a landmark win for the rookie.

Family success underlines the day as Doug Gordon takes Top Alcohol Funny Car. Maddi credits guidance from Ron Capps, who signed her license in 2023 and backed her progression.

Brown makes back-to-back finals after defeating Leah Pruett, Tony Schumacher, and Clay Millican. Langdon preserves a commanding points lead, 150 clear of teammate Doug Kalitta after Norwalk.

In Funny Car, Ron Capps fires 3.969 at 328.54 and a .048 light to beat Jack Beckman. The 80th win, his third of 2026, follows strong qualifying earlier.

Capps defeats Bobby Bode, J.R. Todd, and Alexis DeJoria en route to the final. The result completes Ron Capps Motorsports’ first sweep alongside Gordon’s breakthrough, adding welcome internal momentum.

In Pro Stock, Aaron Stanfield claims a holeshot win over Matt Hartford with a perfect .002 light and 6.626 at 208.75. It is his second of 2026 and 16th overall.

Stanfield advances past Erica Enders, Cody Anderson, and Kenny Delco to reach the final. His season trajectory, detailed in this Pro Stock update, reflects a measured climb back to form.

Dallas Glenn stays atop the standings, 23 points clear of Greg Anderson. Hartford makes a third straight final, reinforcing the class depth and the growing premium on reaction time.

In Pro Stock Motorcycle, Richard Gadson wins again over teammate Gaige Herrera after a final-round red light. Gadson’s 6.849 at 197.36 secures his first Norwalk win and sixth career triumph.

Richard Gadson doubles up at Norwalk and leads Gaige Herrera by 83 points.

The result follows success in the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge a day earlier. Gadson praises the venue’s energy and now leads Herrera by 83 points for Vance & Hines.

The series returns July 17–19 at Sonoma Raceway for the Denso NHRA Sonoma Nationals presented by PowerEdge. A roundup of recent top spots frames the form book heading west.
