How much is a custom K1 RaceGear suit?
K1 RaceGear's custom auto suit page lists an SFI-1 Proban suit from $599.95 and a 2-layer Nomex SFI-5 suit at $1,599.95 (standard) or $1,699.95 (premium). FervoGear's custom double-layer SFI 3.2A/5 suit is $799 with matching gloves, and $899 with matching shoes too.
Which one is faster?
K1 RaceGear estimates a 4 to 6 week turnaround for custom suits. FervoGear's standard delivery is usually 5 to 6 weeks after design approval and sizing, and expedited delivery takes about 3.5 weeks.
Can I design my suit online?
K1 RaceGear asks you to fill in its order and measurement forms, starting from 16 design templates or a blank canvas, then contact them to submit. At FervoGear you fill in a 30-second online form or design the suit in our 3D builder, and a designer sends a free proof within 24 hours.
What logo files do I need?
K1 RaceGear asks for logo artwork as .ai, .eps or .pdf and says .jpeg or .png files cannot be used. At FervoGear our request form takes any image format, with no vector files needed, and logo embroidery is unlimited in every deal.
Can I return a custom suit?
K1 RaceGear does not accept returns on items designed for a customer and says deposits are non-refundable. FervoGear's custom suits are not returnable unless there is a manufacturer defect, which is why you approve a free proof first and see photos before your suit ships.
