Tickets are on sale for the 61st In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals, November 12-15 at Pomona, concluding NHRA’s 75th anniversary season and deciding world championships across all four professional categories.
The event is the final round of the 20-race NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series and the Countdown to the Championship, amplifying risk-reward calls that typically decide marginal title outcomes.
Qualifying runs Friday and Saturday set the ladder, with Sunday eliminations determining champions. Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle deliver head-to-heads at Pomona’s quick surface.

Recent Pomona finales underline fine margins. In 2023, Doug Kalitta beat Leah Pruett in the final to seal Top Fuel. In 2024, Greg Anderson edged Dallas Glenn for Pro Stock.
This year’s build-up includes record pace and standout execution across events, sharpening the Countdown picture. The regular-season title race shaped seeding and strategy through summer rounds.
Trackside experience remains a differentiator. The Top Eliminator Club adds premium seating, a hospitality center with food and drinks, a private souvenir store, driver meet-and-greets, and clear staging-lane views.

NHRA’s 75th anniversary programming complements the racing. Legends Tony Schumacher, Tommy Ivo, and Del Worsham appear, plus a tribute to Schumacher’s 2006 Top Fuel benchmark and a Nitro Mall expansion.
Form lines from last season reinforce expectations. Doug Kalitta topped Top Fuel, with Austin Prock, Dallas Glenn, and Richard Gadson securing class titles. Shawn Langdon remains a threat alongside Kalitta.
Prock’s back-to-back Funny Car success faces pressure from Ron Capps, a three-time champion. That duel, like Top Fuel, hinges on execution during final qualifying attempts and opening elimination round.
Pomona’s record book underscores pedigree. Kalitta has seven Top Fuel wins. Matt Hagan leads Funny Car with eight. Greg Anderson and John Force share Pro Stock on 17 wins each.
In Pro Stock Motorcycle, Matt Smith’s six Finals victories set the benchmark, reinforcing the event’s tendency to reward repeatability over outright experimentation when conditions and lane choices tighten.
Operationally, two qualifying days feed Sunday eliminations, with young fans admitted free in general admission alongside a paid adult. Premium upgrades improve sightlines and access for those prioritizing paddock proximity.
FS1 carries national coverage. For added form guidance, review updates on Scott Rod’s NHRA season and Norwalk form for Scag Racing and Joe Morrison.
