CHE Precision Inc. becomes an associate sponsor of the Legacy Nitro Funny Car Series, backing an 11-event campaign across NHRA heritage meetings and selected national series rounds in 2026.
The partnership strengthens the series’ competitive base, reinforcing parts supply and technical credibility at a time when reliability and performance margins often decide weekend outcomes.
The calendar integrates NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series events with appearances within the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, ensuring heritage machinery runs alongside modern top-tier showpieces.

CHE’s core competency lies in precision valvetrain components used across NHRA, NASCAR, IndyCar, and SCCA. That pedigree typically translates to durability gains under nitro stress loads.
The company’s longstanding support of Ron Capps Motorsports underlines the link between supplier relationships and consistently competitive race programs, from component development to trackside execution.
Four Legacy Nitro Funny Cars will headline the Big Nitro Show at Summit Motorsports Raceway Park in Norwalk, Ohio, from July 24-27, topping the 25th PRW Power Blue Suede Cruise.
Front-engine nitro dragsters, fuel altereds, and gassers complement a field of more than 3,000 street rods, building a broad-appeal weekend for fans and participants.
The championship passes its midpoint with six of 11 rounds complete. The Nightfire Nationals in Boise run August 7-9, followed by the Nostalgia Summer Nationals in Woodburn on August 28-30.
Later fixtures include the California Hot Rod Reunion in Bakersfield on October 23-25 and the NHRA Las Vegas Nationals from October 30 to November 1.
Seventies-inspired bodies and period-informed rules shape performance and presentation, offering a distinct spectacle while aligning with modern safety and event operations at Mission Foods rounds.
The calendar also supports NHRA’s 75th anniversary celebrations, connecting heritage machinery with contemporary audiences and reinforcing the sport’s historical throughline.
With CHE’s backing, teams gain confidence in critical hardware availability. That stability should elevate reliability, tighten competition, and sharpen the championship narrative through fall’s decisive events.
