Buemi Announces Emotional Formula E Retirement This Weekend

Sebastien Buemi ends his Formula E career at this weekend’s London E-Prix, choosing not to chase a seat for the impending Gen4 era.

Envision confirms Buemi and teammate Joel Eriksson will depart after London. Since 2014, Buemi has contested nearly every Formula E race, missing only two of 161.

The decision reflects his focus on Toyota’s endurance programme, which already includes four Le Mans victories and four World Endurance titles.
