Alpine will field Paul Aron in FP1 at Monza, with Pierre Gasly sitting out the opening session of the Italian Grand Prix weekend.
It is Gasly’s first practice absence of 2026. Aron will drive the A526 on Friday morning as part of Alpine’s compliance with the FIA’s FP1 allocation rules.
The team’s rotation plan remains active, with both Gasly and Franco Colapinto still expected to miss one further FP1 each before season end.
