NHRA names Mopar and Dodge the title and powered-by sponsors for the 26th NHRA Las Vegas Nationals, running October 29-November 1 at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The race marks the fifth of six Countdown playoff rounds in NHRA’s 75th season, heightening championship pressure ahead of the Pomona finale.
Expect a high-energy weekend that rewards clean execution. The Strip’s surface and autumn conditions spotlight lane choice, clutch setup, and power delivery across Top Fuel, Funny Car, and the Pro Stock categories.

Mopar executive Darren Bradshaw says the event aligns with the brands’ performance values, using the Nationals’ profile and competition level to reinforce Mopar and Dodge’s drag racing identity.
Activation reaches the midway. Fan areas will host interactive displays and product showcases that connect showroom technology to components used across NHRA classes.
Mopar and Dodge continue as technical backers of Tony Stewart Racing, supporting Matt Hagan and Leah Pruett. Hagan, a four-time champion, also defends last year’s Las Vegas Funny Car win.
Pruett’s Top Fuel return shows pace and consistency. Tony Stewart, last season’s regular-season champion and a Top Fuel winner, remains a contender under the Mopar and Dodge banner.
NHRA executive Brad Gerber welcomes the commitment, noting Mopar and Dodge also back a major Countdown race in Martin, Michigan, amplifying manufacturer presence late in the season.
Elsewhere, momentum from recent East Coast rounds, including the JEGS NHRA Maryland weekend, feeds into the playoff narrative and compounds pressure at Las Vegas.
FS1 carries comprehensive coverage across the weekend. Final eliminations run November 1, with qualifying form dictating lane choice, turnaround times, and strategic calls during a decisive playoff phase.
Last year’s winners underscore variety at The Strip: Brittany Force in Top Fuel, Hagan in Funny Car, Dallas Glenn in Pro Stock, and Gaige Herrera in Pro Stock Motorcycle.
Pro class storylines also reflect evolving partnerships, including developments in Small Tire Pro Stock sponsorship that signal wider investment across the sport.
Historic form matters at altitude. Erica Enders leads Pro Stock at Las Vegas with 10 wins. Tony Schumacher owns eight Top Fuel victories, with Antron Brown at six.
Funny Car has several six-time winners. Ron Capps and Hagan headline that group, joined by John Force and Robert Hight. Greg Anderson owns eight Pro Stock victories at the venue.
Support racing adds depth. The Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series runs with the pros. JBS Equipment Pro Mod stages its finale, and Summit Racing Series E.T. Finals crown champions.
Fan engagement mirrors recent grassroots momentum, as seen during the St. Mary’s MD Fanfest, reinforcing NHRA’s community reach during a decisive playoff swing.
Las Vegas’s wider motorsport calendar elevates visibility. The Nationals arrive close to the city’s Las Vegas Grand Prix, creating crossover attention and additional sponsor value.
The competitive equation remains simple. Track evolution, air density, and turnaround discipline will determine who converts manufacturer backing into points, as titles come into focus at The Strip.
