The Northwest Nationals sit among the final regular-season stops, sharpening points priorities across Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock. Teams chase grid position and data collection before eliminations decide the weekend.

Friday qualifying is scheduled for 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Pacific. Saturday runs move earlier, at 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., followed by the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge. Eliminations begin Sunday at 10 a.m.

Two qualifying sessions run Friday and Saturday, restoring the event’s traditional format.

FOX coverage starts at 4 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, aligning the broadcast window with the event’s closing stages. On-site, 12,000-horsepower nitro cars routinely push 340 mph downtrack.

Last year’s winners were Shawn Langdon in Top Fuel, Matt Hagan in Funny Car, and Dallas Glenn in Pro Stock. Langdon leads 2026 Top Fuel points, already a four-time winner this year.

Eliminations start Sunday at 10 a.m. PT; FOX coverage begins at 4 p.m. ET.

Langdon faces sustained pressure from Doug Kalitta, Tony Stewart, Leah Pruett, Antron Brown, and rookie Maddi Gordon. Funny Car remains tight, with Hagan chasing three-time champion Ron Capps in the standings.

Glenn, a Seattle native, has climbed to second in Pro Stock. He contests established names including Greg Anderson, Erica Enders, Matt Hartford, Aaron Stanfield, and Jeg Coughlin Jr. Execution on Saturdays will be decisive.

The broader season narrative features standout Saturday speed, mirrored by strong qualifying performances earlier this year. Those patterns heighten the value of two attempts each day in Seattle.

NHRA’s 75th anniversary underpins the weekend, with tributes across the venue. A focal point honors Jim Dunn, whose career spans more than 75 years and includes two Seattle runner-up finishes.

Children 12 and under receive free general admission with a paid adult.

Dunn also guided a 2008 Seattle Funny Car victory with Tony Bartone, underscoring his enduring influence. A refreshed Nitro Mall and commemorative displays aim to bolster the fan experience.

Tickets remain available, with free general admission for children 12 and under when accompanied by a paid adult. Season storylines, including the Scrappers Racing debut and Jasmine Salinas’ Bristol return, add context to a pivotal Pacific Northwest round.
