John Force Racing peaks late in qualifying at Summit Motorsports Park, converting Saturday track evolution into pace at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals.

Their four-car roster improves session by session, securing two No. 2 seeds and balanced lanes for Sunday eliminations.

Top Fuel’s Josh Hart leads the charge, stepping from 3.762 to 3.722 seconds at 332.51 mph to lock P2.

He draws Scott Farley in round one, the No. 15 qualifier after a 4.669-second, 162.51 mph pass.

Hart cites lap-by-lap gains and targets pole execution. A John Force fist bump signals belief after a recent early exit.

In Funny Car, Alexis DeJoria resets the team benchmark with a 3.886 at 330.31 mph in Q3. The class stays tight after Ron Capps’ Norwalk pace.

She strings 3.947 and 3.918 earlier, then closes with 3.900 to bank P2 and lane choice versus Blake Alexander, 3.983 at 324.62.

Vandergriff faces J.R. Todd, whose 3.916 at 335.90 secures P6, making that quadrant a potential early flashpoint.

Eliminations start Sunday at 11 a.m. ET, with FS1 carrying qualifying noon–2 p.m., and FOX airing eliminations 5:30–9 p.m. The Norwalk undercard features Pro Mod.
