Elite Motorsports switches chassis supplier for its Pro Stock program at Brainerd, adopting Jerry Haas cars and ending its RJ Race Cars run.

The change starts at Brainerd International Raceway on August 21–23. Erica Enders, Jeg Coughlin Jr., Aaron Stanfield, and Troy Coughlin Jr. move to Haas-built cars.

The switch covers Enders, J. Coughlin Jr., Stanfield, and T. Coughlin Jr. for the Brainerd weekend.

Owner Richard Freeman says the move is long-planned. He and Joe Janac ordered new cars early in 2025, with the final chassis arriving only recently.

Elite initially targets 2027 to align with the hood scoop return. Greg Stanfield’s form in a Haas car accelerates the timetable.

Running a Haas chassis all season, Stanfield shows standout consistency. He has two first-round exits, a No. 1 start, six semifinals, a #2Fast2Tasty win, and consecutive finals.

His recent win at the NHRA Sonoma Nationals underlines the package’s pace. He sits third in points with two events before the Countdown.

Greg Stanfield’s Sonoma win and surge to third highlight the Haas package’s competitiveness.

Freeman concedes mid-season changes carry risk. Unifying the fleet now should improve setup transfer and sharpen each driver’s title prospects.

Elite also banks on proven pedigree. Since 1986, Jerry Haas Race Cars claim 12 Car Craft All-Star Pro Stock chassis awards and refined four-link architecture developed with leading drivers.

Jerry Haas Race Cars hold a record 12 Car Craft All-Star chassis awards dating to 1986.

To compress the learning curve, Elite schedules a closed Indianapolis Raceway Park test before Brainerd. The team targets immediate gains in launch repeatability and downtrack stability.

With Brainerd closing the regular-season window, early mileage is decisive. The switch signals intent as Elite positions for the Countdown run-in.
