Williams will stage its first Madrid fan zone during Spanish Grand Prix week, running September 7-13 at Plaza del Callao. Entry is free, targeting fans who cannot reach the circuit.

Headliners include Carlos Sainz, team principal James Vowles, and reserve driver Luke Browning. Appearance schedules will follow, with Sainz’s home support central to the activation.

Free, week-long access at Plaza del Callao brings Williams’ F1 programme into Madrid’s city center.

A full-scale FW48 show car anchors the display. An exclusive Madrid merchandise range debuts alongside the official 2026 Williams team kit, broadening retail reach during race week.

FW48 show car and the 2026 Williams team kit headline the Madrid launch.

Fans can sample a dedicated gaming zone, driving the new Madrid circuit on simulators ahead of the inaugural race. A limited Williams x Marvel comic, created for the event, adds cross-over appeal.

Partner activity includes Kraken’s reaction-ring challenge with prizes. Komatsu supplies a haul-truck simulator, BW Scores offers interactive games, and Estrella runs a bar serving alcohol-free beer tastings.

Simulators let fans learn the new Madrid layout before the first competitive laps.

Williams also curates a Spanish motorsport heritage display. Helmets from Sainz, Marc Gené, and 2012 Spanish GP winner Pastor Maldonado feature alongside landmark trophies.

Silverware on show includes Alain Prost’s 1993 Barcelona win, Nigel Mansell’s 1987 Jerez victory, and Jacques Villeneuve’s 1997 Barcelona triumph, underlining the team’s historical footprint in Spain.

The fan zone model, now in its fifth season, has welcomed nearly half a million visitors. It expands sponsor activation while converting casual interest into engaged support across Formula 1’s growing calendar.

Madrid’s debut grand prix elevates local demand, and Williams’ city-center presence increases touchpoints during peak footfall. It complements F1’s evolving calendar backup plan, which supports new markets and shifting schedules.

Opening hours run Monday to Friday, 11:00-21:00; Saturday, 10:00-21:00; and Sunday, 10:00-16:00. The activation is delivered with support from the Madrid City Council.
