Cadillac recruits Ricky Taylor and Antonio Felix da Costa to its Jota factory effort for 2027 WEC, replacing Sebastien Bourdais and Alex Lynn after the 2026 Monza finale.
Jack Aitken, Earl Bamber, Norman Nato, and Will Stevens remain in place, though final driver pairings for the two Cadillac V-Series.R LMDh entries are yet to be confirmed.
Team principal Sam Hignett expects a seamless integration, citing both drivers’ familiarity with Jota’s environment and their reputations for disciplined feedback and cooperative stint management.

Taylor already races Cadillac’s LMDh with Wayne Taylor Racing in the IMSA SportsCar Championship, and impressed deputising for Alex Lynn at Lone Star Le Mans in September.
He plans a WEC and IMSA double programme in 2027, mirroring Jack Aitken and Earl Bamber.
Taylor describes the move as a career milestone, calling a first full-time FIA world championship campaign an honour with Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA.
Da Costa returns to Jota after two seasons away from Hypercar, having raced for Alpine in 2026 following the Renault Group’s programme shutdown.

He previously won the 2022 LMP2 title with Jota and then stepped up with its customer Porsche 963 effort.
Alongside that endurance return, he will race for Jaguar in Formula E next year, but says Jota feels like home and targets wins and titles.
Lynn departs for McLaren’s new Hypercar programme in 2027, while Bourdais has yet to confirm plans as he continues to chase an outright Le Mans victory.
The arrivals reshape Jota’s cadence but preserve continuity around Aitken, Bamber, Nato, and Stevens, with car-by-car line-ups to be finalised closer to the season start.
Under stable Hypercar regulations, the Cadillac V-Series.R remains an LMDh contender governed by BoP, putting premium on reliability, tyre management, and pit execution.
Cadillac did not pursue an Evo joker for 2026, increasing emphasis on operational gains and driver synergy rather than hardware evolution.
WEC’s expanding depth and demanding calendar, highlighted by Barcelona’s recent debut, reward adaptable squads and double-duty drivers like Taylor.
Jota and Cadillac now focus on converting that platform into consistent points and podiums, with detailed driver assignments and strategy to follow before testing begins.
