Adobe will join Alpine as Formula 1’s official AI fan experience partner from 2027, announced in Austin before the United States Grand Prix. The deal targets deeper, personalised digital engagement.
It is Adobe’s first commercial move into F1, leveraging Firefly and the CX Enterprise stack to power fan-facing experiences across web, mobile, and event touchpoints.
Fans will be able to generate emblems and graphics using AI tools, mirroring Adobe collaborations seen in the Premier League, NFL, and MLB.

The announcement featured Alpine’s marketing lead Guy Martin, driver Pierre Gasly, Adobe executive Marissa Dacay, and Liberty Media’s Derek Chang at the Axios x The Race business forum.
Adobe’s AI approach spans agents and large language models, coordinated through CX Enterprise to deliver the right message, on the right channel, at the right moment.
Dacay framed Formula 1 as a global cultural platform, where innovation and sustainability narratives amplify reach beyond racing’s core audience.
Alpine will use Adobe Experience Platform to monitor engagement in real time, enabling rapid adjustments to campaigns, content, and channel mix across markets.
For Alpine, deeper fan ties complement on‑track ambitions with the team’s recent machinery, including the 2024 car project, forming one part of a wider rebuild.
The commercial direction also follows boardroom turbulence, including the collapse of talks with Geely, making stable technology partnerships strategically valuable.
Liberty Media has prioritised data‑driven fan growth, and teams are racing to modernise stacks. Comparable moves, such as Audi’s expanding F1 programme, underline the sport’s escalating technology arms race.
Success metrics will likely centre on participation rates, content creation volumes, and conversion to team properties, with governance around data, IP, and safety shaping deployment pace.
Alpine expects the tools to extend engagement beyond race weekends, while commercial performance targets provide a backdrop for evaluating the partnership’s effectiveness through 2027 and beyond.
