Gedlich Racing has confirmed the 2027 Winter Series calendar, running January to March across five Iberian circuits, headlined by GT, GT4, and Formula categories in a development-focused programme.
Six dates structure the season, with the 6 Hours of Portimao in early February acting as a standalone endurance marker for teams targeting reliability, operational sharpness, and measured performance gains.
The framework balances competition with preparation. Entrants maximise race mileage, refine procedures, and integrate new drivers before their primary national and international campaigns ramp up.

The GT Winter Series accommodates professional outfits and ambitious amateurs. A broad car mix encourages set-up correlation, tyre understanding, and driver adaptation under representative race conditions.
Operating under an SRO licence, the GT4 Winter Series prioritises parity through technical checks and Balance of Performance. That framework supports young drivers and Pro-Am line-ups building craft and confidence.
The Formula Winter Series targets emerging Formula 4 talent. International fields and compact weekends deliver structured competition, procedural learning, and clear benchmarks against established pathways.
A revised format limits car numbers per race. Heats decide Masters Race qualifiers, while a Contenders Race provides additional grid time and podium opportunities without diluting on-track standards.

The 6 Hours of Portimao runs 4–6 February as an independent event. It stresses stint management, traffic handling, and pitstop execution, with Formula Winter Series races sharing the weekend.
Venues are Portimao, Estoril, Jerez, Barcelona, and Valencia. Warmer conditions improve running reliability and reduce weather disruption, accelerating programmes that would stall on colder northern tracks.
Dates are 14–17 January Portimao, 21–24 January Estoril, 4–6 February Portimao endurance, 11–14 February Jerez, 25–28 February Barcelona, and 4–7 March Valencia. Category mixes vary by venue.
Positioned away from headline F1 narratives such as the United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas, the Winter Series prioritises development, systems rigour, and baseline pace over headline results.
